Program of your day with the Red Train and the guide
Half an hour before the departure of the Red Train you will meet the guide in the station of the Rhaetian Railway in Tirano, in front of the carriage booked for your journey (the Rhaetian Railway station is next to the Italian Station).
The train leaves the pretty town of Tirano to begin a breathtaking journey, both in winter and in summer, on slopes of 70 per thousand (without rack) up to an altitude of 2253 m a.s.l., which is unique in Europe.
You will arrive in St. Moritz after approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of travel. Those who wish can visit this famous Swiss town located in the Upper Engadine and built in the 19th century, located at 1856 m a.s.l. in the middle of the magnificent landscape of the Engadine lakes, with the guide.
In the afternoon you will return to Tirano with the Red Train in the booked carriage at the scheduled time for this day.
