The GoldenPass Express offers a seamless and even more comfortable travel experience on one of the most beautiful railway routes in Switzerland.
Designed by the famous Italian designer Pininfarina, the new high-tech train offers panoramic carriages and allows passengers to travel directly from Montreux to Interlaken without having to change trains. In fact, the GoldenPass Express adopts an innovative variable gauge system that allows the train to switch in a few seconds from the meter gauge of the MOB, the Montreux – Zweisimmen line, to the standard gauge of the BLS (Zweisimmen – Interlaken), a true technical revolution.
A trip on the GoldenPass Express is a discovery tour of Switzerland. The route starts in the picturesque Interlaken and leads to Gstaad, Château-d'Oex, Montbovon and Montreux, the end point of the journey. Of course, the journey can also start from Montreux.
